Hondo Dog Park: A public dog park provided by the city of Hillsboro.
Announcements:
Current Improvement Project: A local Girl Scout and the Hillsboro Dog Association are working to raise funds to install a shelter in the winter area so park users can have protection from rain and sun while their dogs exercise! To find out how you can help with this project and get special recognition for you and your dog go here. Also, meet the Girl Scout behind the effort. [UPDATED 3/23!]
Winter Shelter Project Update: Phase II Shelter Plans have been approved and permitted by the City, shelter is on order. Phase III Install concrete pad, shelter structure, and bricks- Date TBD.

Main dog/Small & Timid Dog Area open from Dawn until dusk except on Monday and Thursday morning
(rainy/wet weather permitting)
Winter Area is open from Dawn until 9:00 pm all year

FUN FACT: The distance of the loop at Hondo Dog Park is .17 miles. Six loops would be about a mile.
